It's been very stormy here. It has gone down in the record books as the worst spring in history. So Mike you are now Quincy, why do you keep changing your name? CS I don't envy you with that kind of heat, I prefer it to be a bit cooler. But I guess you are used to it so when it's more like the 70's or low 80's you must feel cold.

How do you stand the Florida heat and humity? I went to visit a friend and cut it short because you only stay inside air contitioning and walk to a car ,or go in a hot pool.... It gets hot and sticky here but there are many days where it's not,so I can walk to a store or anywhere I want. I despise air conditioning I use it very little , I prefer fresh air winter and summer, my windows are open all year round.... there is nothing worse then stagnant air..BLECH..
I recently moved here for business reasons, and it's hotter than I thought. During the summer months I'll spend a lot of time in Argentina and brazil where it will be more like mild winter. I can also go visit family in the bronx if things get too bad.

well, up until 3 yrs ago before GLOBAL WARMING, everyone's a/c is off during the winter months (from november until march), the temperature was fantastic, low 70's during the day 50/60 at night (average) with some cold fronts in between -30/40's... that is what draws people to florida..not the summers, though it's COOLER in the summer here than it is in NY....and the smog during the summer up there is horrendous..
i'm here 15 yrs and NEVER SWEAT.. .every place is air conditioned... the summer before i moved here, i lost 15 lbs during the summer just eating fruits and tuna fish because it was so hot, no one wanted to cook ...
to each his own i guess, but i do miss the fall, and that is when i go to ny to visit w/ family... YOU CAN KEEP THE WINTERS

I have friends and family that moved there and hate May until Oct...,June ,July and August are horrendous. It's nice if you never go outside..I enjoy walking in Manhatten ,the zoo, amusement parks ,I can't just go from a house to a car to a movie to dinner then back home... I need my seasons ,sadly we really haven't had a real winter in years,I haven't worn a winter jacket or coat in years...

Florida is where you go to die. I'm not trading in my shovel for hurricane shutters. Hudson valley is one of the most beautiful places on earth. CS hasn't sweated in 15 years, more proof she is brain dead.
