You thought they were cool? We used to make fun of my father and tell him he looked like DONALD DUCK!! LMAO!!!

Is that you???? "Mike the Sailor"!!! Were you still in the Navy in '84?
I never knew they called them "Dixie Cup hats"...I like this one better than the Donald Duck cap, but they're both nice. I think the U.S. Navy always had the coolest uniforms of all the military branches!

It's not for everyone...some folks just serve the single 4 year enlistment. I always ejoyed it and made a career of it. If I was 19 again, I would do the same thing.

WOW WOW WOW!!! That must have been FASCINATING! I always loved being on a 'boat,' out at sea, but never really traveled far. I can't even imagine how exciting all that sailing must have been for you, Mike, and to see all those places (without having to pay for it, haha!) WOW! Did you see any 'action' during your 20 years of service?
I love hearing this stuff, so yes, 'get started'.....! Hahahaha!!

I remember being in the army at 15 years old. My friends and I were in Botanical Gardens. We were at war with the wind. This was so weird it was hiarious. That's all we knew at the time. So we rolled overand dug ditches only to find out a tree fell 37 feet from us. We ran as fast as you could say Bull****. While I was running, I fell down and hurt my wittle weg. My friend started pulling my leg to help me up. I said hey hey you're hurting me. How do you expect me to get up and walk if you're giving me more pain..lol. So he kept on pulling my leg just like I'm pulling yours..lmao
