I beg to differ Duke. (hehe) My mom had a friend who was psychic and made some incredible predictions. Including the time the psychic, my mom and my aunt saw a spirit dressed in a white gown, walk right across the room. A very frightening moment to say the least.

P.S. I'm Aquarius

Although it seems like hocus-pocus many of the world's most intelligent and successful people believed in it through the ages. To call it B.S., seems a bit arrogant.

Duke, this may come as a surprise to you, but if you read the Bible, you will find that the Three Wise Men were guided by astrology when they set out to find the newborn 'King of Kings.'

It's really an exact form of science, and falls in and out of popular favor, but it's been around a very long time and I'm not one to summarily dismiss anything...my cat-like curiosity keeps me interested enough to find out as much as I can about any particular subject.

Consider this: doesn't the Moon directly affect the ocean's tides (here on Earth)? Since our bodies are comprised of 'salt and water,' it has to make sense that the Moon also has an effect on us. The police have openly acknowledged that they're on higher alert around Full Moon time because they've seen a pattern of people acting 'crazy'...the word "lunatic" is derived from Lunar = Moon!

Thank you, Bellatrix...Aquarians are creative, and very deep-thinking people!

You're very welcome BG, and thank you. I do like to think deep at times, because some say my head is hollow. (hehehe).
I think Lupo might be able to explain to us about the moon and it's effects on the human mind. I'm afraid of his answer, but I'll listen anyway. lol
Can anyone admit to feeling a bit crazy at times, only to realize it's a full moon?
I work nights, and where I live all the nuts come out at night. Why is that?

As a nurse who worked the 11-7a.m. shift I can tell you there is difinitely a correlation between weird behavior and the moon! Patients that normally never acted out did so, also the OB Ward, ER and Psych Wards get very active at this time!!!!

Thank you, Norie. Astrology has taken a bad rap in the past century or so, but I still believe in the power of planetary action and its effect on us.

Lupo should be happy about the full moon this week! OOOOWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
