What are your views on this raid? Do you think the 400 plus children are better off now, being separated from their mothers? Do you think they should just go in and arrest the guilty party here, or are all the men guilty? Should these people be allowed to live the life they want, in this country I think that is allowed. What's your opinion?

Everyone of these "mothers" who are speaking out have their answers scripted, and if they are asked a question not within that script they don't answer it. If it is found that no abuse has taken place then return the kids and let them live their lives!!!! |

Hello out there in cyber space! Where is the proof? What country are we living in, when the military can come in full gear and escort mothers and children out of where they are living, then snatch those same children, and say they are putting them in a safe place? Are you all kidding me? On one anonymous phone call, this has happened, well then kiddies, it can happen to you. Hey those creeps in Gitmo have rights, what happened to these people?

Let's not lose sight of the fact that this "cult" believes in polygamy and child abuse, allowing grown men to "marry" children in their teens and procreate with them. I guess it's OK with Italian Grapes as long these teen agers have their future destroyed by this sick "religion" in the name of a guy named Jeffs who has already been convicted of these crimes. This SOB is their "savior".

With all due respect it seems to me that I recall your distaste of the Waco incident and how it was handled!This went off without any violence,no one was hurt. It is up to a court of law to judge whether a crime against these children has been committed just like with any other allegation.Right now that's all it is, an allegation. IG this is no different than anyone else calling into the 800 number reporting suspected abuse,they investigate and then a conclusion is reached.You're presuming they are innocent, the State is presuming an allegation. |

How about the poor hungry children in America that go to bed every night in a shack with no indoor plumbing and the only water is a creek down the hill.
Lets gather up some task forces and raid those impoverished groups. I wonder if that would get the press coverage this has. |

Norie, there was a phone call, a phone call that they can't even produce the mysterious person who called, these people were denied due process, there was nothing PROVEN.. if a child were raped or children there are being sexually molested, do you really think I wouldn't care? They should have investigated and found if this were true and removed the guilty, but to go in (and yes, like Waco) in full battle garb, is a little too extreme to me, in a free country where you are entitled to live a life you pursue. |

I guess you don't understand either. What I am saying is, I don't think the government or any so called child welfare services dept. should have the right to just barge in and take innocent children away from their mothers, the children do not know anything except that they are not seeing their mothers which is very traumatic, what good does that serve anyone? As usual the children are being hurt. Just because I agree with the Patriot act in this time of war, does not mean I am happy with 'diminished individual rights'.....
