Dow Rises 485 Points a Day After 777-Point Fall

Stocks staged a broad recovery on Tuesday after Monday's big
sell-off. The Dow Jones industrials gained 485 points, more
than halving the 777-point decline on Monday.

I have a feeling the market will take care of itself. All we have to hope is all the crap floats to the top so the government stays out of it.

THE MARKET RESPONDED THE WAY IT DID WAS BECAUSE THEY STILL BELIEVE A DEAL IS COMING! YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND HOW THE MARKET WORKS! WHAT DROVE OIL PRICES UP? SPECULATORS. WHAT DROVE CORN PRICES TO RISE, SPECULATORS.IT'S ALL ABOUT SPECULATION IN THE MARKET. THE MORE UNCERTAINTY THE HIGHER THE PRICE AND THAT'S ON CERTAIN COMMONITIES, LIKE OIL, GOLD, CORN ETC.

So, Norie, in other words, uncertainty/paranoia runs the American economy??

I never quite thought of it that way, but now that I do, it makes PERFECT sense!!!

Maybe we should get some inpatients from Creedmore or some upstate NYS Psychiatric Hospital to run the economy.

They have at least the same chance of getting it right as our present lunatic goverment officials!

Their meds may even give them a certain advantage!

I am sure that our newly elected paranoid schizophrenics will, at the very least, be careful!!!!

It's confusing to congress because all of their big money pals are loosing money.The same pals that got them all the deals that has made them above us little people.Why hold any of them accountable?
