Out of curiosity, does anyone here still cook Easter Dinner like we did in the old days?
We have enough food here to feed four Third World countries, and we cut some courses out, lol

I hate to say it, but I simply cannot top my late Dad's "gravy" and lasagna. I do make a sauce, but for Easter, I'll cook a ham and all the trimmings, but nothing Italian.

I agree Laura, Lasagna for Christmas, Ham for Easter, with potato salad, baked beans, coleslaw, sweet potatoes and all the other trimmings. Happy Easter everyone. Razzer Razzer

I WOULD LIKE TO WISH EVERYONE A HAPPY HOLIDAY, BE IT EASTER, PURIM OR THE PASSOVER TO COME!!!

ANGELS
Angels are the guardians of hope and wonder, the keepers of magic and dreams. Wherever there is love, an angel is flying by. Your guardian angel knows you inside and out, and loves you just the way you are. Angels keep it simple and always travel light. Remember to leave space in your relationships so the angels have room to play. Your guardian angel helps you find a place when you feel there is no place to go.

Ah, Marilyn, I looked up the date for Passover, and did not mention it because it was some time away.
I didn't think of Purim, which was this week.
Sorry.......

In looking up the story of Purim ( I like to know a little about everything) I came across this, and thought it was apropos to current events:

Megillat Esther teaches us that life challenges work out for the best, because what appears as obstacles are really opportunities to develop ourselves for the better. And it all comes from God's invisible hand that guides our fate, every step of the way.

Ham for Easter, save the Italian for Christmas. That's the way my late dad did it. As for your cooking, I'd have to try it to see if it compares. Wink
