do you remember the pony rides. They would bring a couple of ponies infront of the building and you would ride for a few cents.

quick very quick rides
but then when I was a little guy they also took pictures of the kid on the pony - the cameras took a photo on a disk about size of a nickle with a metal backing later with my tribe of kids there were the poloroids..... at the Amalgamated Housing Coop next to Van C Park the ponies were often invited for strret fairs and block parties |

I remember the pony rides and the smell of the ponies !

They used to bring to ponies into the school yard of St Theresa's. Three times around the school yard, what a trip.
