This is big news here, we just found out that a pregnant missing mom and her 7 yr. old son were found dead, after being reported missing Saturday.

People are just devastated. She co-owned a bagel shop in north Fort Worth, was 7 mos. pregnant with her second child, who was going to be a girl.

They've arrested a guy she used to be linked with romantically, but details are sketchy. Friends and neighbors knew something was up when she didn't arrive for her baby shower Saturday, and the son didn't show up at a morning birthday party for a classmate.

It sickens me to think that people do this! For what reason? Here's a young, single mom, successful at her own business, bringing up her son alone, and expecting another baby. Seems there are two different fathers for the kids, yet the guy that was arrested isn't the father of either of them. Maybe she dumped him, and he never got over it???

Things developed quickly in the last 24 hrs. or so....seems they found her SUV first, near a creek, but a search of the area proved nothing. Then, all of a sudden, they said they searched the home of this guy, who was thought to be romantically linked with the gal at one time...guy's house was gorgeous, neat and clean, lived there with a girlfriend. They talked with fathers of both the son and the unborn baby, guess they cleared them.

The first suspicion was going into the gal's home and finding a pool of blood, yet nothing else. To me, that was an ominous sign right there. No forced entry, so they said she had to have known the person.

How they found the guy that they just arrested isn't known yet. I do know that he's in jail, 2 mill posted for his release.

I guess we'll know more on the evening news. What a damned shame.

Cat, do a search for "Dallas Fort Worth Star Telegram"...articles can be read online from our local papers.

This makes me sick, I feel so very bad about this. The little boy was only 7 and they adored each other. If anything, at least they went together. I don't either of them could've survived this trauma without the other.

I hope the bastid gets fried.

HOW HEARTBROKEN I WAS TO HEAR THIS CONFIRMATION. I SAW IT ON THE NEWS LAST NIGHT AND DIDN'T GET A GOOD FEELING ABOUT THIS EITHER.
Why why would somebody do this, what is this world coming to?
May she and her children rest in peace.

Oh God, now they're saying the convicted man is the father of the unborn baby! And something about an argument ensuing over their broken relationship may have led to their deaths, this would explain how there was no forced entry and that she knew her attacker.

Damned shame that the guy had to kill her AND the son, who had nothing to do with the argument.

I did find it odd though, that the woman got pregnant by two different guys and didn't marry either one of them. I smelled trouble at the beginning.

Oh, here comes the conference...later.

Arrested, lived and murdered in Texas, as well. They don't stand for any shit down here.

Huntsville's a few hrs. drive from here. I guess it'll all come out in the wash what went down. My guess is a lover's spat...he probably wanted her back, she didn't, he couldn't have her so nobody else could...yet, he WAS living with someone!!!

They had this gal on a local talk show call in to say she dated the suspected murderer a long time ago. She said he was the sweetest guy, would open the doors for her, etc. Didn't mention why they broke up and she also didn't use her real name, she stated.

There are conflicting reports from different people, some say they are shocked at what happened, others say there weren't surprised. A real mixed bag of how this guy was. He's not bad looking and doesn't look like a crazed killer.

I still cannot fathom how anyone could use their hands to strangle a little boy for no good reason other than the fact that he walked in on the strangulation of his mother and met the same fate.

They had a candlelight vigil last night in front of the bagel shop the mother co owned. Around 100 or so were there. The bagel shop is about 20 or so minutes from my house, but the actual place where they found them is about 45 min. away from me.

What a damned shame.

Okay, the blood, I'm finding out, is because they started to argue and the bastid punched her in the face and broke her nose...there was a pool of blood on the carpet, furniture and walls.....then, when she came at him to defend herself, he strangled her. That's when the kid came running into the room screaming, and the guy covered the kid's face and nose with his hands until he stopped breathing.

Mother f**er.

Laura I had heard on TV that it was a 3 foot section under the coffee table of blood, are you saying it was from a nosebleed? Why under the table? They also said someone else knew about the murder but did not report it, was he arrested?
My heart goes out to the family.

Who knows? All I know is that they removed carpet from the living room...actually I knew they had met their fate because that was the first thing they noticed when they checked her home...the blood. They stated there was a "pool of blood" on the living room carpet.

The accuser said an argument ensued, and he beat her in the face, thus, all the blood...who knows what the hell else he did to cause all that blood, maybe she started to miscarry?

And his business associate, whom he called to ask to pick him up as he was out of gas, is now in jail on a parole violation. He saw the bodies in the back of the SUV when he went to bring gas to the accuser, and said NOTHING FOR THREE DAYS. DID NOT REPORT TO THE POLICE RIGHT AWAY.

Something is fishy here...first the guy asks the business partner to drop him off at the woman's house...supposedly, does the killing, puts them in the back of her SUV, drives around, runs outta gas, sheriff spots someone muddy walking around, tries to grab him, but he eludes the sheriff....the partner picks up the killer, gives him the gas, and notices the bodies in the back of the SUV!!!! He takes off, not wanting anything to do with it, and then he tips off the police 3 days later?

Too many details coming out now....both are in jail...now the wife is saying her husband couldn't possibly have done this....he adored her two kids from another marriage and they were discussing starting their own family. No history of violence or anything.

Weird huh?

Ever notice how most of these deaths are caused by a boyfriend, ex-boyfriend, stepfather, etc.? It's always whoever the woman was seeing and/or living with that either kills her or the kid, or, in this case, BOTH.
