Change the term limit for New York City mayor Bloomberg?
As if we don't have enough on our plates, this moron (typical politician)picks now to challenge the term limit set for his office.

LMAO. IF THEY WOULDN'T DO IT FOR AMERICA'S MAYOR RUDY GUILIANI WHO LED THE CITY AFTER THE 9-11 ATTACKS, WHY WOULD THEY NOW. I DON'T KNOW, I HAVEN'T BEEN LIVING IN THE CITY AND FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND THEY CAN'T STAND HIM.

This is a double edged sword.

On one hand twice the people voted for term limits. (Democracy)

On the other hand, I believe that the ballot box should trump term limits. (again Democracy)

I guess people get the politicians they deserve.

Well, I do live here in NYC, but in one of "the invisible boroughs" (where Mayor Bloomers can't see us because there's not enough $$) and I don't know one person who 'likes' him.

Herr Adolf Giuliani Egomaniac only asked for "3 more months" so he could swoop in and save NYC from another attack, continue to reassure us that he was The Man, and be on television 24/7...

Mayor Bloomers is asking that the PEOPLE'S VOTE (TWICE) for term limits of 2 years be revoked, because, Financial Wizard that he is, only HE can save us from the current fiscal crisis.

"And the beat goes on....."

Post held by BITB KGB-INTERPOL-FBI-CIA-House UnAmerican Committee for "scrutiny."

However, EE is correct in that it's a double edged sword. More to come...maybe.

I don't think that Bloomberg should get three terms, didn't Rudy try it and they wouldn't change the term limits.

I don't like Bloomberg, I think he thinks he knows what he's doing and just because he has lots of money, I don't think he's a good mayor.

Rudy-Adolf asked for "3 more months" so he could go on 'saving the city' from more terrorist attacks, and appear on TV 24/7.

Mayor BLOOMERS is an arrogant, snotty, condescending, filthy-rich SOB who thinks he's King of New York. I don't know ONE person who actually 'likes' him.

It WOULD be interesting to see Bloomberg's reaction to a request of a third term if somebody else was the current Mayor.

I don't think he would care for that!!

You've seen it. In 2001, Guiliani wanted to stay on, but Bloomberg was having any of that. He wanted his turn.
