Bobby Murcer has died today, reported by CBS radio. One of the greatest Yankees. He was only 62. He didn't get his wish to live lone enough to see the new Yankee Stadium. God Bless Bobby. Hit a few for us up there.

Oh, I am so so sorry to hear about Bobby Murcer. I did know about Tony Snow, but I haven't had the radio on all day and this is the first I'm hearing about it.
I was so sure he was going to make it, he had such a positive attitude. My generation seems to be dying very young... |

Both Bobby Mercer and Tony Snow were Class Acts in their chosen arena. Both gone too soon. May They Rest in Peace.

I'll second that Mike. Also Dr. Michael DeBakey died at the age of 99. This great man was the driving force who pioneered cardiac surgery, invented the heart bypass, worked on the artificial heart and a lot of other heart related technology!Truly a great asset to all of us, who has extended thousands of lives! May he Rest In Peace!
