I lived near PS 67, a few blocks up the 174th or 175th Street hills, on the corner of CPN and CPN. I don't know why it's depressing. It's history. Probably the most noteworthy thing that happened in the long history of the school.

Hello! I'm brand spanking new to this forum. So glad I found it because it brings back such good memories. I went to PS 67 until we moved when I was in fourth grade. That would make it about 1965. All I remember about PS 67 is the library up the hill, a restaurant nearby called StandBar, the school's performance of "The King and I" and some of the teachers....Miss Kelly, Miss Sydney, Miss Balan and Mrs. Schindler. Does that ring any bells for you?

Hi Laurie, the building is still there, but it is sadly no long TRHS. The last class graduated last year. The property now houses 4 small specialty academies geared to the young folks in the Bronx today. Most of the Public High Schools in the Bronx as we remember them have gone the same route.

Clinton has been coed for some years now as is Walton. I could check at myspace and look up some students ages and make a rough guess at when it went coed.
At myspace, mostly the younger people put down the schools they went to, and anyone can do a search at myspace for a certain school and look up who went there.
edit-I found a girl on myspace that is 34 years old, so do the math, if she was at least 18 at Clinton then she was there at least 16 years ago. That is, if she's telling the truth.
But i also found a 27 year old girl there as well, so Clinton seems to have been coed for some time now.
