DO YOU REMEMBER WHEN IN SCHOOL YOU WERE THOUGHT ALITTLE ABOUT EVERYONE RELIGIOUS BELIEFS BUT WERE NOT TO BE TAUGHT ABOUT CHRISTMAS BECAUSE IT WAS ABOUT BEING CATHLOIC JUST LIKE TODAY ITS CALLED HAPPY HOLIDAY INSTEAD OF WHAT IT REALLY WAS CHRISTMAS -- SO WHAT DO YOU THINK

I'm sorry, but teaching of religion should be kept out of public schools. Public schools have problems teaching kids reading and math, they'll just mess up teaching raligion the same way.

YVONNE YOU ARE SO WIGHT BUT IT WAS DONE BY ALOT, EVEN MY TWO SON'S WHILE LIVING IN LEVITTOWN NY THEY WERE TO BE TOUGHT ALL ABOUT COUNTRYS - WELL THEY TOLD THEM THE DIFFERENT WEATHER - HOW WE DRESS - WE TALK DIFFERENT - AND THAT WAS ABOUT IT UNTILL WE GOT TO ONE COUNTRY THEN THEY WERE TOUGHT ALL OF THAT PLUS THE FOODS THEY EAT HOW A MAZZA BECAME TO BE - TWO OF THERE SONGS PLUS ALL ABOUT THERE HOLIDAY SEASON AND WHY THERE WERE 7 CANDLES AND WHAT EACH ONE STOOD FOR ...I GUESS I REALLY DONT MIND IF THEY WERE TO SHOW ALL RELIGIONS THEN ITS FAIR

I agree with ya Danny, it would be nice to learn about all religions, at least in a historical context, I think this might be called diversity.

I mean, one learns about Karl Marxx in the schools and his ideas, but one can't learn about Jesus in a historical context even though Jesus probably had more influence on the world than Karl Marx did. Look at how many people still follow Jesus and how long they've been doing it, yet Karl Marxx will one day be soon forgotten.
