I walked into the school for the first time in 50 years. It looks very good. The principal gave us I nice tour. The building is over 100 years old. The city wanted to rip it down. The comunity would not let them. In fact it was up graded back to beeing a full PS K-6. It was early childhood for many years.

Hello dbob my name is Luis. I went to PS35 1956-57 school year. This was the first school that I went to in the U.S. I had just come from Puerto Rico that summer. And lord and behold about three weeks ago i took a trip to the Bronx After visiting my brother who was very ill in NJ. I spent three hours just riding around in the Bronx. I had not seen PS 35 in some 43 years. What year did you go there?

Hi Luis, I went to PS35 from 1948 to 1954. They were remodeling the school when I was there. My mother went to 35 in the early 1900's

I went to PS 35 June 1951 and have a school photo of the teacher (Mrs. Powell, I think) and 16 students including myself (a few of the students were cut off-don't know why) If anyone is interested of a copy of this photo I will be glad to send you one.

Was that the year you graduated?

I graduated PS 35 in 1951, went to PS 22 (Jordan L. Mott, Jr. High) and on to Taft HS.

I went to PS 90 and like you PS 22 abd Taft. You were 2 years ahead of me. Mant of my friends went to ST Angelas across the street from PS 35.

Barry B., I see you now live in NJ. After the Bronx I lived in Wayne, Budd Lake, Flanders,& Basking Ridge. I also loved those areas.
