Anybody know of Joe Carosella who attended Hayes in the mid sixties? He had an older brother named Marty, who went with a girl named Martha Savino, on E 179th St. off Boston Rd. Joe was very bright and could cut a rug, too. I knew he'd turn out well. He was a very well bred, polite young fellow, and that always stood out with me. Some of the boys were rowdy, but not Joe. He was refined. We all lived on E.179th and Joe was part of our crowd back then. God bless. Kris

Hi Kris,
This is Joe Carosella. My daughter somehow saw this message and it took me a while to be able to sign on to groupee. It would be great to hear from you. my e-mail is geicojoe@aol.com. I think your mixing me up with my good friend Mike Staffieri who lived across the street from me in 1079, I lived in 1000. He went to Cardinal Spellman, I went to Stuyvesant. He, me and Louie Soto also from 1079 and his father owned the grocery store on the corner at Boston Rd. Mike was the rug cutter. Please contact me, it'd be great to hear from you. Joe |
