There used to be a candy store on the corner of Walton and 183rd St. little guy Ziggy owned the place, it was on the 183rd St. corner with an apartment house above it, I was doing a search earlier and found that the apt. house is no longer there. Anyone know what happened?
Ziggy's was famous for lime rickeys.

I am not sure of which corner you talk about but the fire station on Jerome was moved to Walton and 183, maybe the fire station is on the same spot. I remember the candy store you speak of,I just can't be sure where exactly it was, but I never went in it. I think it might have been gone when i got old enough to wander about.
