My parents owned a candy store on White Plains Road, near 241st streets. This was in the 60's, it was next door to a movie theater on one side and a bakery on the other side. It was also 1/2 a block from the EL station. I now wish we had taken pictures, it was such a nice memory but we have nothing to pass on to children and grandchildren. If you lived in the area and know of the candy store, please let me know. Better still if you had you picture taken in front of the candy store, I would really like to see it, hey you never know

I did not know your parents store, but I do know that most candy store owners were very tolerant and patient. They let us hang around the store even though we seldom bought anything I have good memories of my days in the candy store.
