Does anyone remember "Vinnie's" Restaurant at Valentine (Kingsbridge Rd.) and 194th.???

Vincent Coppola or "Vinnie" to most friends served Italian Food there. Aside from this... he was a singer and an actor as well.

Any relation to Francis Ford Coppola, Talia Shire, Nicholas Cage, Andy Garcia, etc. ... Yep!
His Son's Jim, Jason, and Jon are in the business. They screenwright too, from time to time, and work in film production.

... And you thought Vinnie's just served pizza?

i used to live on e kingsbridge road, 239 e kingsbridge road to be exact and there was a pizza place right downstairs and a little hole in the wall restaurant around the corner...i think that's the one you're referring to. i remember the guy and his wife and baby they never did much business and practically lived in the restaurant...kind of a dumpy place but the food was surprisingly good.

Besides playing Vincent in the Godfather part 3 what does Andy Garcia have to do with the Coppolas? He is Cuban, born in cuba. What is the connection?
Or is there someone named Andy Gacia and that was not a typo?

Our neighbors at 196th street were Nick, Irene & AnneMarie Copolla. Nice people and we lost track of them before the Hollywood Coppola's made any sort of splash...

Hello James;

I am not sure if these people are related to "The Bronx Coppola's", but I could be wrong?

Regarding Nicolas Cage... Just did a character street scene in the upcoming movie sequel "National Treasure-The Book of Secrets" Due out Dec 2007.
