Had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with Mr. Berra on numerous occasions. I played football on the same team as his son Tim in the early '70s. Mr. Berra came to a few of the games.
Below I am hugging Steve Schubert who caught a TD in the game, #42 is Tim Berra

My aunt dated Yogi Berra once. He was already dating the woman he was to marry, though. Her name is Vi. She's now in her 80's and unfortunately in failing health. She does perk up when she tells me about her good old days. She dated a few ball players. She was quite pretty in her day.

Never let any kindness, no matter how small, go unnoticed. God bless All!

Any one play ball for the Bullets, Redwings, Cavaliers or any other sandlot ball. Do you remember Frankie Frish Field, MCCombs Dam Park at 161st or Harris Field or Crotona Park! Any more. Rod Carew, Ed Cranpool Mike Nagy(pitched for Red Sox). What a way to grow up the best.
