I had a fling with a guy in my old neighborhood Just before Joe and I decided to get married. I had been able to find him. Unfortunatly he had just lost his wife and is now living a very lonely life. He was a really nice guy. I feel sorry for him.

I know from my experiance, of contacting old friends and loves, that they were wondering what happened to me as well and with some the bond of youth is still there. I have made new old friends.

I had been friends with a lady in my building for years, after she died, I became friends with her husband, we'd have coffee together and talk, he was kind, sincere straight in his own way but still pleasant. We got involved for a short time, then he met a lady he worked with, married her, she never moved in with him but kept her apartment and they would visit back and forth, that lasted a few months and the marriage ended. We got back together for awhile and I thought we might get married, but then he met another lady, he was really crazy for her, only she didn't want nothing more than friendship, she died, and back I went for another chance to love this man, everything was fine until I went to his door one afternoon and the apt. was empty.......gone vanished. I've often wondered what happened to him, not a word, nothing just gone, some say he is dead, others say he was with the CIA....he had top sercurity clearance, others who knew him said he walked into Bear Mountain and never came out.
Nearly 5 yrs and the man just vanished into thin air. I keep my e-mail the same, phone number just in case he should ever return.

for me my first love happened back in like the 5th grade her name was carol katz i had a big time crush on her used to walk with her every chance but the problem was growing up in a all italian neighborhood thats about all i was able to do. even at that age i knew that you had to stay with your own kind. so if there is a carol katz out there that went to ps.16 on carpenter ave in the 60's i sure wouldnt mind carrying your books one more time lol
