This particular movie was a favorite of a friend of mine, the movie starring Jane Seymour and the late Christopher Reeves is one of the most romantic movies ever made, along with haunting music, it tells the story of star-crossed lovers of another time....and the lose of love. When I read the words of the song I realize that love is precious, it should be nurtured, kept sacred and protected.

Somewhere in time,
Love is forever
A love that's here
A love that's now to last for all time.
Somehow I know this moment is waiting
Somewhere in time

where there is time, there is a circle
somewhere in time the circle will be complete
Somewhere in time Love is forever
A love that's here
A love that's now to last for all time.

I know you loved her, as she loved you...somewhere in time, someday you'll meet and the circle will be complete. Dedicated to a special couple whose hearts once beat as one, you had her heart: she looks down to guide you and watch over you.

Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a teardrop.......

Jose that is my all time favorite with "Portrait of Jennie" a close second. Last spring my daughter found a movie theater in Jersey city that had a special event showing BOTH movies. The theater was a smaller version of the Paradise and they are trying to save it. Seeing both my favorites on the big screen was a was a blast. My daughter finally admitted that she too loves "Somewhere In Time".

I was given the recording of the song "Somewhere In Time" from the movie, the song is sung by Micheal Crawford, done so well, if you watch part of the movie and listen to the song (with words) it gives me chills, there are many many people that LOVE this movie, and there are soo many that never seen or heard of it until they heard the song and waited to know more about it. Yes, Schwartz, its not only a ladies movie we men to have watched it and I hate to admit, brings a tear to my eye. For anyone who ever loved someone to the depth of their souls, this movie is the movie to watch together, the message is clear.

I found another version of this song the words are different but still they mean alot to those who have loved, were loved and lost love:

Somewhere in time
We met on timeless hills
And in the evening mist we kissed
And time stood still
Before the dawn we found forever
Moments of timeless when I feel your caress
You're always here inside of me
And I know when love is true
It'll be always with you Somewhere in time
I came to realize love never goes (less)

Its rare that you find a love so deep, as in the movie, but once you find it, never let it go
for it only comes once in a lifetime, and yet choices are made, but can you live with the choice, and have regrets for not choosing the one you really loved with all your heart. Somewhere in time you will meet again, to love and smile and embrace and be as one. For J a K
somewhere in time is their movie.

Hi Schwartz:
Long time no see. 'Portrait of Jenny' Right now I can't remember if it was 'Jenny or Jeannie' Was or is one of my old time favorites with 'How Green Was My Valley' and 'Somewhere in time' ranks along with them. I have a CD with Movie Music and i have the song 'Somewhere in time' on it. Instrumental with that great piano sound.
Ps. I went to PR 3 weeks and it was great. didn't get to Palmas this time. But went to a restaurant by the seashore in Salinas. Had the greatest enpandillas de Jueyes you can never think of. That of course are Crabmeat pies. With Heinekens they went down great!!!Ate three of them. Then went to the new Sheraton casino & Hotel in Caguas. Spent a whole day in the mountains of Utuado right in the center of the island. visited relatives i hadn't seen in years. It weas great. Are you still planning to move down there?

I liked the film portrait of jenny. Is was sort of a ghost love story. I liked the scenes when the artist had to paint the mural in the Irish bar. It was a good film.

I met my first love at a St. Raymond's Boy's School dance at the age 13 (first dance I ever attended) - his name was Billy Schiaffo. To make a very long story short - Billy and I married in 1981 - when I was 23 and he was 25. We had a beautiful daughter Nicole who is now 25 years old and a parole officer for NYC.

Unfortunely, Billy died at the young age of 32 years old - it's going to be 18 years since his death on 12/21.

I am drawing a blank. Can anybody recall the name of the top three or so wedding halls in the Bronx in the 60's. I remember attending a few weddings there, but am drawing a blank as to their names.
