The stadium has the best tranport of any place I have seen. Two subway lines; two rail lines that are not used. A major highway.
In the old days on game days trains stopped at Melrose station on the NYCentral and New Haven. They would walk to the stadium ;then eat at the high end resurants on Cortland Ave on the way home.
I have been to almost every ball park the stadium is the best if you stay off the Deagan

I agree. I always either rode the Concourse D line or the Jerome Ave #4.

It's an outrage.
Six hundred sixty VIP free parking spaces,
on the public's dime--
Meanwhile, within a couple years
the price of public parking
at the new Stadium would reach $35.00.

...the mayor is going to look into
this and is also looking into the
"official business" placards that
give parking privilege to drivers that
have them and who use them while not
on business. He has asked every agency
to reduce by 20% the number of placards
issued and will come ready with traffic
enforcement agents to ticket and tow
on-the-spot...
