Last night's 15 inninng win of the Red Sox was another YANKEE CLASSIC. What a pitchers duel. Burnett and Beckett and all the other pitches throwing up goose eggs. What a game!!! Yankees blowing chances to win. A-Rods walk-off homer in the bottom of the 15th. This makes buying the baseball package from Direct TV so I can watch the YANKEES down in Florida worth the price.

Red, what's your take on the Yank's season so far?

And for the Fall?

They've got to get some more production out of A-Rod. Pettit has to improve and Jaba has to be more consistant. The bullpen has been pretty good - especally Hughs. Cano has to start hitting with RISP.

Tonight it was confirmed to me that Girardi is a terrible manager. I told my wife it was a mistake to bring in Coke. Why not Hughes? Mariano for 4 outs?

I try not to be an armchair manager. They swept the Sox in 4 and are now 6.5 on top of the AL East....that is all that matters.
