Well, it looks like it is going to be the Wild Card or nothing at all. Boston has a 3 game lead with 5 to go in the AL East. One more Yankee win coupled with one more Detroit loss and that will give the Bronx Bombers their playoff berth.

I hate to say it folks but it looks like bye bye Yanks and then bye bye Torre!
I have felt for the last 2 years between the bad pitchers and Torre someone had to go.I think the Yankees need some new blood, somebody to get them motivated. This time the "Boss" is speaking out.

Nothing new here. Everytime things don't go the way George wants, he calls the press and throws a rant! Just the same old same old. Torre has a brilliant baseball mind. The Yankee's loss will be another team's gain.

A tough loss, the Yanks need more pitching. I hope Joe stays, and they dont go after more oldtimers. Wait till next year.

Hey George, let's NOT go and do something stupid that you will live to regret. They don't come any better than Joe Torre!

It's too bad but I think Joe is toast. The Yankees are a great team and should have won a lot more as in series.
I think a new manager will do that.First wins. That makes the Yankees losers.
Another series I'll miss.

George wants a manager like he is. A real hard head. With a team like he was he would get nothing out of them. It would juat be a lot of yelling. In the past you could get by with a hard nosed manager, not today.
