I remember putting a coin against the curb in the street and a person across the street would rool a marble across the street to try to knock down the coin to win it . If he missed you would keep his marble. We also had a shoe box or a cigar box turned upside down with 3 different size holes in it . A person would roll a marble from across the street and try to get it into one of the holes to win. You could win anywheres from 5 to 20 marbles depending on which hole you entered. Of course if you missed you would lose your marble to the owner of the box. Also pitching pennies to a line in the sidewalk or against a wall or curb.
