Danny, I left the Bronx in 1970 when I joined the Navy (20 years). I lost the accent a long time ago, but once in a while I will run in to someone down here who sounds like he or she just walked out of the Bronx yesterday! Proudly Served, 1970-90

Spalding punchball, stickball, curbball, boxball, captain(ace, king, queen)and any other rubberball game can be found at Ace Hardware,Bed Bath and Beyond or some online stores. So the next time you just feel like throwing the ball off the wall now you know where to buy one.

Heck, yeah, Danny. I have gone through the accent stuff. We moved out here to Tulsa, Oklahoma! Being from the Bronx and being Italian, of course they kept asking if I was in the mob. I just told them I couldn't answer that as I didn't know who they were! They all kept clear thinking I would put a hiot on them or something. What rubes! Get this. I met one of our advertising guys. Never met the guy before. Never talked to him before. i introduced myself to him, but instead of asking what part of New York I was from, He asked what part of the Bronx I was from! I stopped him and said that I hav enever been asked by a total stranger what part of the Bronx I was from, How did you know I was from the Bronx. he said it was my nasal accent! I knew I had an accent, but from that day on, I was more aware of a nasal accent! What a ****er!

1st ill tell u my story.... My boyfriend is fron NH... way up by Canada... I got in to it with some girl and she called me "A dirty ****" hahahaha... ya...she thinks that I am Latino cause im from NY! What a loser! Anyway... Stop saying that you have to "DEAL WITH" Just be proud that you are from NY. So what ppl think ur gangster! LOL... as far as your kids go... Tell them to tell the other kids that if u were in the mob you would not be living in florida! After all the only thing they they know is Good Fellas, A Bronx tale, and The Godfather!(not sure of ur kids ages) But one thing I noticed.....NYers dont move out of state and pick up that states accent.... but if u move to NY you pick up a NY accent. My Boyfriend moved here to NY with me .... he grew up in NH up by Canada, I grew up on Long Island (diffrent accents)he has been here 7yrs and works construction...he picked up the Brooklyn/Bronx accent not long island. Be proud to be from NY dude! We may be rude drive bad and have no manners but when its time..... we always stick together!

Michael, were you recently quoted in the News again? There was an article last week on the changing Bronx, and in the Executive Towers interview I thought it might be you. Wasn't sure of your last name. Was it you? You're getting to be a regular SuperStar aren't you? Good going!

Michael, what is your opinion on what is going on in your area at 1277 Morris Ave? That situation would nver have been tolerated back in the day! Proudly Served, 1970-90
