Not trying to start a war, but just curious if there are any non-Yankee fans out there?

Question:
Which is your favorite team?

Choices:
NY Mets
NY Yankees
Brooklyn Dodgers
Other
Not a baseball fan.

Richard and the Young Lions? Ducky Boys? Fordham Baldies? If this garage band or bronx gangs of the 50's and 60's mean anything to you, check out Lantern-Media.com to find out more about them!

Not to worry James...I'm sure Willie and the boys will be right there in the thick of things in the NL East.

Was a Yankee fan as a kid.The Mets moved into the polo gronds and I changed. It was strange that you got off the #4 at yankee stadium and walked over the macombs dam bridge to the mets. The mets were good when they finally got to Shea.Had good years and bad. But at least we did'nt move the outfield fences in because our big pay ballplayers could'nt reach them(reggie Jackson and Dave Winfield)Like steinbrenner did.

It's too bad they renovated the Stadium to begin with. If you look to Boston and Chicago...Fenway and Wrigley are just fine after all these years!

When George bought the team the first thing he did was say Im moving them to Tampa.
When he found you can get $100 mil from TV in NY and only 2 in Tampa. He said Im moving to NJ I hate the Bx.
When NJ would not come up with the bucks. He told NY I will stay: but not in the Bx.
He gets 3mil in attendance, now he will stay
He is the Bx best fiend. I spelled that one right.

And thats why I stopped liking the Yankees... Steinbrenner always kept threatening to leave... If he's so willing, then he's disloyal to us, and i won't be a fan...

Same thing with the Giants and the Jets... I've been a Buffalo Bills fan (god help me) as they are the only real NY team now...

How can the Giants and the jets call themselves NY. The Giants have made it clear they hate NY and only want our Money. The Jets have a better case. They sould not be NJ either. Im sure people from Trenton go for Philly. They sould be E Rutherford period.

In the old days players made salarys that were on the high end of what most people made. You could relate to them. Now they make way too much and they act spolied. Teams built there own stadiums. Now they want billion dollar hand outs to go to a city.
NY is paying king George a billion to keep the Yankees in the BX. and ripping down one of the best stadiums in Baseball.

I only go to the minor league games now. If you go to see the majors your seats are 3 countys over and water costs $5

Can you tell me why none of the NY teams who are building new stadiums have plans to have domes on them?
You would think they would want to attract other sports interest like the Super Bowl.

I was thinking Harris Field (a friend got really cut up there sliding into base)...

But PS46 schoolyard is quite appropriate too!
