When you make the pasta from scratch, some people refer to the product as "noodles". I sometimes make my own pasta and cut it into ribbons (like fettucine) or large flat shapes (tagliatelle).

So now it's noodles and gravy, pasta and sauce, or several variations thereof.

We were a Ronzonni Family. Don't dare bring anything else to the table. My dad could tell in a heartbeat! Out here in Oklahoma, they have this drek called Martha Gootch. Words can't describe how bad it is. We actually use Great Value from Wal-Mart (lord, please don't strike me down). It is passable.

I actually drive 2 hours south of here to Krebs Oklahoma. It is the largest and oldest Italian community in this area. They have a store that makes great pastas, cheeses and sausage! Other than that, it is drive 5 hours to St. Louis and pig out!!
