I remember it! I lived just around the corner on Knox Place.
I guess it was called Golf--the golf course was right across Jerome Ave.
What I mainly remember was some fantastic fresh garlic pizza--it was actually different (and better) than most or all of the many pizza shops around the neighborhood.
I didn't go there until I was a young teenager (around 1965/66) because I thought it was just a local bar--didn't know about the restaurant part.--Harvey

I remember it well.My father supported the bar side every night when he came home from work. Nice bar/restaurant/pizzeria.Small pie was 2 bucks,large pie was 3 bucks.They used fresh olive oil on the pies and the pies had a thin crust. It makes my mouth water just talking about it.
