I remember Joe & Joes they were on the corner of Castle Hill & Brucker Blvd. The had the best food in town. To bad they closed down after all thoes years. I realy miss going there.

Joe & Joe's is in Pearl River, NY. They say they're the same one as in the Bronx. I had tried their food.. very good.

Rockland used to be the preferred escape route for Bronxites. It's unusual for a business to open there nowadays. Krum's candy shoppe used to be in Pearl River, I don't know if they're still there.

Krum's used to be there.. not sure now.. but it was just a candy outlet.. no "frappes" or other great ice cream concoctions...

There used to be a small Krum's in Mt Kisco. That is gone. I have not seen any Krum's in years

We lived there for a few years. They built a Mall on N. Bedford Road. The place was very poor, but it did have a Krums. It was right in there center court. I dont know if the place started as an outlet center but it did become one. I guess it was there in the early 70's. The Mall failed several times. There is a Target there now.
