Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't there a Dominicks somewhere south of Arthur Avenue. I think it was on, or near Tremont. I seem to remember It was more of a steak house. The waiters were usually old men in black dress jackets. They carried white towels on their shoulders.

Wasn't there a Dominick's Steak House just north of 161st. east of the Concourse. I have memories from 60 years ago of my rich Uncle Herman driving in from New Jersey one Sunday each month to take the entire family to dinner. I remember aautographed pictures of all of the Yankees who ate there regularly. Am I having an hallucination? There is nothing as jealous as the truth - Carl Jung |

Sandy, I too seem to remember the one on Tremont. It was more of a steak house. Recession is when my neighbor loses his job, Depression is when I lose my job. Recovery is when Milhouse loses his job. |
