I always wanted to fish those goldfish out of that tub.. I did go to the Botanical Gardens and fish for goldfish in their man made pond, but the parkee guy chased us away before we caught anything. I loved White Castles, the only one i went to in the bronx was on fordham near TR, maybe i went to the one on Boston and Allerton as well but my memory fades me. I did go to quite a few White castels in Queens,, under the El in jackson Heights, two on Queens Blvd one in Sunnyside and one in Rego Park, went to one on Bell Blvd and a nasty one late at night in Hollis.

Sorta funny how these memories still cling to us. I had many late Friday "snacks" at White Castle, after coming home from dancing in the Golden Twenties, on 73rd and 2nd in Manhattan. The taste of them, along with the onion rings still lingers, as do the many laughs we shared while squnched up in the car in the parking lot. When we finally got our order, it was strictly business.........lmao Steve
