Fall Outdoor Screening Friday, September 14, 2007—7pm Andrew Freedman House 1125 Grand Concourse at McClellan Street Admission: Free This series of short films from Africa and Latin America represent some of the brightest filmmakers who are working today. They explore the themes of love, mystery, revenge and tradition, and open the universal field of life upon the screen. PERFORMANCE: Afro-Brazilian Folkloric Dance by GRUPO RIBEIRO FILM PROGRAM: Mare Capoeira Paola Barreto, Brazil, 2005, 15min. Mama Put Seke Somolu, Nigeria, 2006, 30min. Ousmane (Deweneti) Dyana Gaye, France / Senegal, 2006, 15min. The Chess of Colors Marco Schiavon, Brazil, 2004, 23min. Organized by The Bronx Museum of the Arts and African Film Festival, Inc. in association with the National Council of Ghanaian Associations.
