I learned today from Tommy Clarke, that for those who knew Jimmy McNally, he passed away last week while visiting his daughter and grandchilren in Montana. RIP and God Bless.

Could you give more information, like what section of the Bronx he was from, schools
age.

I don't have allot of info and I met Jimmy through the web board 3 years ago when I was searching for info on my parents Stephen & Mary Dunne that go back to the 40's to 60's time period. They are both deceased. Jimmy replied to my ad and was very helpful in some areas and put me in touch with others who knew my Dad, including him.

This is what I know:

** From S. Bronx, Mott Haven area, grew up around 137thg St, also 138th St & Alexander Ave, also Willis Ave, etc.
** I think he attended St. Jerome's School & Church. Not sure what years. He graduated from HS in the year of 1951, not sure which one.
** Also attended Dodge High and graduated from there for sure.
** Some of his friends are: Tommy Clarke, Jack Kinahan, Rosemary Donohue went to school with him at Dodge High. Also Bill Curran.
** Hung out with some of his crowd at a place called "Klee's Ice Cream Parlor", with friends named Norm Schutte, and Penny Small.

Hope this is of some help. Did you know him? What do you plan to do with the information?

I am trying to find out funeral plans, so if you get any info on this, please let me know.
