Is PS 13 still there?

People are saying they knocked it down??? If so, why??

Where is/was PS 13?

I did a google search and it looks like it was on 215th Street back in the day. It is not listed as an open school in the Bronx anymore

I think the kindergaten class at PS 13 had a protest because the lunch food didn't meet their standards of taste. This protest turned ugly when the police rushed the kids with batons. So some of the kids went back into the school and blew it up,,,

So the rest of the kindergarteners sang:

School's out for summer
School's out forever
School's been blown to pieces

The last I heard is that Alice is still in wonderland.
