I remember the movie theatre on 161st off River Ave. The whole area has changed. Still have Stadium Lanes (bowling) and the Yankee Deli, but it just ain't the same. Frowner

OK, here's a trivia question for you Yankee buffs:

Pepiton on first, Mantle, Tresh and Maris in the outfield, Ellie Howard behind the plate, Clete Boyer on third, Richardson on 2nd, Whitey on the mound. Who's at short??? Clue: 1964.
I do believe that would be Tony Kubek.

What are you talking about. I wasn't running from anyone or anything. I moved to 221st and Bronxwood in 1966 when I got married.

Mike, was the Luxor that little tiny movie theatre not far down on the same side as, the Loews Paradise?
It showed foreign films, if it's that one, I remember seeing Diabolique the original one with Simone Signoret.
