I remember a Fran - last name something like "Falson"? She was considered extremely attractive.

I think I remember a Norman Bram. Lived in the next building to me. He never missed a horror movie at the Park Plaza. Any relation?

Gary. You must mean Taft in 64. I went to 82 twice. K and 1st grade (Miss Lesser). Then the "New School" opened. 109 was a very small and intimate setting. All the teachers seemed to know every student. And every student was scared sh** of Miss Murray. I also remember that every Wed. or Thurs. the teachers received a copy of the World Telegram and Sun because it had an education section. Funny how all these minor events come back. Now if I can only remember which shoe goes on which foot.

There sure is! He's my older brother. I didn't know about the horror movies? What's your name? I'll mention you to him.

Norman was a classmate in 109 for a number of years. However, I think I confused him with another classmate (Dennis Sternberg) who was the one into horror movies. My name is Jeff Altschul

I don't believe I know anyone on here, but I left 109 in 65, I think! We had a graduation ceremony over at the RKO on 181st in Manhatten. Oh, by the way my name is Richie Birnie. I lived at 1793 Montgomery Ave, right across the street from the Salvation Army Traing School. Went to 82, and I believe it was the first year 6th graders went there. I was in 6-E3, 7-3 and 8-3, as far as classes go. I know I still have my yearbook from 82. Let me ask this, now that I'm thinking about it. If any of you lived in the neighborhood at that time, than someone has to remember when a guy and his wife were blown up, (they both lived), in their car one Sunday morning. I can't remember if it was 67 or 68. It was all over the news, and I've been looking for info on it but can't find anything. Newspaper archives on the computor only go back to the 90's for some reason. Anyway, I live in Myrtle Beach, SC now and whenever you tell someone about that the think you're full of crap. So I'm trying to find anything I can about it to prove it happened. After all it's not everyday the mob tries to waste someone while you're sitting on the stoop around the corner.
