I'm a writer researching Bill Finger, the co-creator of Batman. He grew up in the Bronx. I'm hoping to find anyone in Bill's family--his father had at least a dozen siblings, so I know first cousins (or certainly their children) are out there somewhere! See list of Bronx names below. - Bill died in Manhattan in 1974

- Bill's grandfather: Morris (originally Moshe/Moses), born 1864, died in the Bronx 12/8/44
- Bill's grandmother: Goldie, born 1869, died in the Bronx 6/6/32
- Bill's father: Louis, born 12/12/1897 in Poland, immigrated 1907, was a tailor/cloakmaker, died in NYC, probably the Bronx, 5/12/69
- Bill's mother: Tessie, born 1892 or 1893 in either New York or Russia, died in the Bronx 3/27/61
- Bill's sister: Emily, born 1918 or 1919; last record I've found of her is 1930 census
