As some of you know, Co-op city is sinking. Do you think they will tear it down eventually? You can accually see the sinkage as you enter the buildings.

That area was all swamp. The Bx has the best bed rock in the whole area. The jerks that built Co op city built it in the wrong place

I remember going to Freedomland before it was co op city. We would drive on the parking lot and you could feel the ground move under the car.A weird feeling.

Some engineers say in the past 5 years it has sunk more than New Orleans.

To properly shore it up and put new footings under many of the buildings they say it will cost over a billion dollars.

A little respect for someone who has been around a lot.
