In 1941 ELDER AVE was the final address for Louis and Gussie Sacks and children ethel, Harry, Martha, Abe and Sam. Louis wa a presser and had a shop locally. Can anyone tell me any stories about this neighborhood and perhaps hearing personal stories of this family. I am doing a history of them.

I grew up on Evergreen Ave, two blocks from Elder. Do you know the cross streets; Westchester, Watson, Bruckner Blvd? I remember many of the stores etc, and would be happy to share them with you.
