Hey, just found this site. You people are talking about Bronx Ministers and ****. My names Richie, Belonged to Golden ******s for awhile, then went with Bronx Henchmen,we were over in the west Bronx from Burnside Ave up to Fordham Rd. After that a bunch of us switched over to the Ministers. we hung out mostly up around 200th st and Jerome Ave. used to go over to The clubhouse on Newbold Ave once in while.I'd actually just gotten my full set of Ministers colors, which I still have along with my Henchmen colors, when i got busted for stabbing a PR from the Javelins. Cost me five and a half yrs upstate. I'm kind of shaky on names after all this time, but I do have some newspaper clippings from when the cops busted the clubhouse on Newbold. I'd have to go into my stuff to find them. But like I said, I stillproudly have both my Henchmen and Ministers colors.

Tried to reply to this yesterday, have no idea what happened to it. Anyway, got an e-mail back from Bobby, Castle Hill Ministers. By the way I'm Richie Birnie I was president of the Ministers on the west side of the Bronx. We ran from Tremont Ave up to around 198th-200th st and harris park area. As I told Bobby I still have my colors to prove it in case anybody thinks I'm bull****ting.I knew alot of the guys over in the Newbold Ave clubhouse, but time, drugs, and alot of alcohol haved dimmed those memories. Of course the five and a half yrs I did upstate did'nt help. Got convicted of manslaughter in the stabbing of a Royal Javelin, who actually used to be a Henchmen with us over on 183rd st and the Aquaduct.Anyway if there's anyone, especilly that ran with me over on the west side I'd like to hear from them, see whats going on, how they made out in life.

My name is Mike Miranda. I used to play guitar with John Nielsen (I hope I spelled his last name right) who used to be called "Psycho" in the mid-70's. We used to jam a lot of Black Sabbath. This is when those songs were new!. I remember Gary Gone & Bobby Donnelly hanging out with us at rehearsals and shows (which we didn't play many of...)and at Psycho's apartment. I used to live on Starling Avenue back then. It's good to see you guys still out there and doing OK.

Bobby D., I'm happy to hear that you remember me! It's been quite a few years. Those were some crazy times back then. You guys were always around. I forgot about you hanging off the window! I had a great time playing with Psycho back then. I play in a few bands down here now. The one I play with most is named Snappahead. You can go to www.snappahead.com. I'm the bald dude! All the long-ass hair I used to have is gone. Towel-dry now! Good to hear from you, man. If you're ever in the area try to make a show.

So where are all the rest of the "old" Bronx Ministers? This is Richie Birnie, Pres., Bronx Ministers over on the west side of the Bronx. We ran around West Tremont and University Ave. Yeah I know not a neighborhood you'd expect to find members of the biggest and baddest White gang, but we were there, like cowboys in the middle of Indian territory. We used to hang out alot up around 198th and Jerome Ave, and were Bronx Henchmen before that. Some still were when myself and a few others switched to the Ministers. So if there are any old Henchmen from up that way lets hear from you. I've been in touch with Bobby D from over in Castle hill for a couple of months now. Actually we found each other here, so I know there's got to be more of us out there.
