Hi Stan,
I lived in 1551 5D and was friendly with Susie and Corinne Mark, Dana and Lenny Schwartz,Fran and Randy Wald, Patty Zahn. My sister's name is Karen and we went to Holy Spirit while all our friends from the projects went to public school. My father is Danny and my Theresa. She passed away two years ago. I have lost contact with many people from the old days but have numerous fond memories of life back then.
My dad coached a little league team Eddies Luncheonette. He did that for one year.
I am in contact with Nathan Screier from 176th Street and Mike Cerio from Popham Avenue and Maria Gornie from University Avenue.
My sister speaks to Dana Schwartz and Fran Wald.
I will post again soon.
I am still in the Bronx but not near the old neighborhood.

I lived on Hoffman St. near PS 45, and am in touch with four other persons who lived there too. Graduated Theodore Roosevelt HS 1958-59. Planning a reunion, are you within these years? My husband grew up on 182nd & Arthur Ave. You're probably too young to remember.

HEY JOHNNY, THE SPARK TONES SOUNDS FAMILIAR. I AM 58 YEARS OLD AND WENT TO THE DANCES IN THE MID 60'S. BANDS CALLED MOZART'S PEOPLE, THE DUCANES AND MANY I CAN'T REMEMBER. WAS THIS AROUND THE TIME YOU PLAYED THERE? THEY WERE GOOD TIMES.

Hi Joe,
I played in Solace from 1954 to 1961. In 1961 I was drafted in the US Army. I am now living in Jacksonville Florida and have a new band call the manhattans that plays in the Italian America club.
I work on mainframe computers, System Programmer. Someday I will retire when I am 75; I will be 71 in April 27 2009. I went to Cardinal Hayes from 52 to 56.
