Hi all --

I am eager to find former classmates/friends of my dad, born in '29, attended PS 46 and DeWitt Clinton High School.

He was RONNIE FRIEDMAN until the end of his high school years when my grandparents changed the surname to FERRIS.

He grew up on the Grand Concourse.

A very irreverent, hilarious man who is deeply missed. He passed away in 1998.

Thanks for any help. I love reading all of the posts here...stick ball, playing hookey, all of "The Old Neighborhood" stuff...I was raised on the lore of the Bronx and miss it greatly.
