I knew Tommy Burns very well. He was one of my brother's best friends.

there was a tommy burns who lived on City Island in the 1980's- was a fireman or police officer. I don't know what happened to him but I could ask around.

Hey any of you returned Vets know me, Carol, from Sheridan Avenue in the 60's. My Best friends were Phyllis "Lisa" Zambrana, Jeannie Rivera, Joan Scalza. My Boyfriend was Albert Cater who went into the Navy around 1966.

What did your Tommy Burns look like?

Please do ask around...it would be great if this is the same Tommy Burns that I once knew. He would be around 52 years old. Here's a pic of him from back in the 1960s. Tommy is the one on the left..my brother is the one on the right.

I ran across Tommy in Sing Sing. He has another 10 years to serve. He was arrested for assaulting Mike's butt.

Yes, Tommy was a foster child and he grew up on Miles Avenue near the little grocery and candy stores. I knew Doris Files, went to school with Robert Files, and also knew Richard Files.

It's a small world!

I always thought Doris was a very beautiful girl. I can definitely see how she could break your heart.

If I'm remembering correctly, I think the Files family used to host the Boy Scouts or some other group at their house. My oldest brother, who went to school with Richard Files, was in their group.

The names are familiar but I didn't know any of them personally. I do remember my younger brother mentioning these names though.
