I don't want this to sound like an advertisement for Sirius Radio but since I've got it I don't listen to anything else. Because I subscibe I can also listen on my computer - I'm doing it now. Their "Sirius 5" plays music from the first decade of Rock-n- Roll (1954 through 1964). It's great to listen to Norman Knight at the RnR hall of fame.

They also have a station that plays music from the sixties. A pleasure to hear Cousin Brucie again.

I get XM radio on the cable but their 50's station plays alot of early 50's music - Perry Como, Jo Stafford, etc. Not my cup of tea.

I get about 30 stations on cable. My fav's are the Jazz and golden oldies. The only problemis that you can't record them.
