Several years ago I went to the final Christmas show that my Angel was to do, that night as many before she sang a song tht Mariah Carey had done, which is one of my all time favorites, along with a song that Darlene Love had sung: Baby Please Come Home for Christmas, somehow though through the years I stil enjoy listening to my Angel sing these songs, I have them on her last CD......I'd like to share the words of All I Want for Christmas Is You......
I don't want a lot for Christmas There is just one thing I need I don't care about the presents Underneath the Christmas tree I just want you for my own More than you could ever know Make my wish come true... All I want for Christmas is You ... yeah I don't want a lot for Christmas There is just one thing I need (and I) Don't care about the presents Underneath the Christmas tree I don't need to hang my stocking There upon the fireplace (ahhh) Santa Claus won't make me happy With a toy on Christmas day I just want you for my own More than you could ever know Make my wish come true All I want for Christmas is you...You baby Oh I won't ask for much this Christmas I won't even wish for snow (and I) I'm just gonna keep on waiting Underneath the mistletoe I won't make a list and send it To the North Pole for Saint Nick (ahh)I won't even stay awake to Hear those magic reindeer click 'Cause I just want you here tonight Holding on to me so tight What more can I do Baby all I want for Christmas is you You baby Oh all the lights are shining So brightly everywhere (so brightly baby) And the sound of children's Laughter fills the air (oh) And everyone is singing (oh yeah) I hear those sleigh bells ringing Santa won't you bring me the one I really need - won't you please bring my baby to me... Oh I don't want a lot for Christmas This is all I'm asking for I just want to see my baby Standing right outside my door Oh I just want you for my own More than you could ever know Make my wish come true Baby all I want for Christmas is You ooh baby All I want for Christmas is you baby... (repeat It seems she picked this song for someone special as most of her songs were for one person and I envy him, because the love she felt for him was real and no one could take that away from her. I can close my eyes and she her on stage in her flowing red gown, sparkles in her hair, that smile on her face, knowing that she was singing to someone else, nearly broke my heart but I understood, most of all I knew her heart was breaking, singing to someone who couldn't hear her, pleading for his love. This holiday season I wish you and your a blessed Christmas............. What is your favorite song for this season? Does it have any special meaning? Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a teardrop....... |

Hello Jose.
Espero que estes bien!! My favorite Christmas song is 'Blue Christmas' By Elvis. I remember 1959 I was in P.R. Because I didn't want to come back to the states do to a heartbreak. I heard the song on the 'arm forces radio' and it hurt me very much. Thinking that I was down there and the one I loved was back in the Bronx. And like your story she didn't love me either!!! rgds Luis M. |

Annmarie, I think Josh has a beautiful voice, I have one of his CD's and within a day or two will have his CD Noel in my hands, I ordered Sunday on the internet, it was cheaper than Circuit City/Best Buy.......always like a bargain and will have it delivered to my doorstep.
Did you happen to see him at the Rockerfeller Tree Lighting on TV he was awsome. |

I'll be home for Christmas, sung by Frank Sinatra. Oh Holy Night sung by anyone and the Carol of the Bells. The Little Drummer Boy because it reminds me of my childhood

I got the CD on line at Best Buy for $9.99 free shipping, and no tax awhile ago. Regarding seeing him,I don't think we got that on out local stations Suzie that's a NY thing, beside most nights I have to work. I sure would have loved to have seen that though. It's been many years since I have seen the lighting of the tree, used to be a family tradition. "Oh Holy Night" is my favorite Christmas song though. |

I happan to like "Grandma Got Ran Over By a Reindeer", its cute and after a drink or two it can be hilarious with a group of friends, you'd have to be there to understand.
For the more proper songs: White Christmas and The Little Drummer Boy. |
