Pamela Birch, guitarist for 60's all girl band the Liverbirds, has died in Hamburg, Germany, at 65. The Liverbirds were British girls who moved to Germany, hoping for a less crowded music scene. I don't know if the Liverbirds were the first all girl rock band, but they were pretty early. They recorded some great tunes like "Peanut Butter", "Diddley Daddy", & "Too Much Monkey Business".
