For the first question, I'm going to say all of the above. I think Carole King and Neil Sedaka were part of the Brill Building so that's why I say all of the above.

Beatles......The last advertised concert was at San Francisco's Candlestick Park on Aug. 29,1966
But on Jan. 30, 1969 the group played a short concert on the roof of Apple Studios in London. Flimed for the movie Let It Be, it turned out to the the bands last public performance.

question 3......Louie, Louie was first recorded by its composer Richard Berry in 1956, but didn't become a hit till 1963, when two groups from Potland Oregon recorded it on two different labels, Paul Rever and the Raiders recorded a slick version but the cruder version by the Kingsmen is what reached #2 on the charts.
