I was just thinking of all the wonderful songs my Angel would sing, with a voice of an Angel she had many many songs that she loved to perform from 50's to 60's, but there was one song that became her anthem song because of her love for one person in particular and she dedicated it to him at every show: so this one is for you "loverboy".

LOL Jose your a trip and a half, if "loverboy" sees this I'm sure that he'll enjoy it, after all he once had someone that loved him very much and too bad he couldn't see that and that he destroyed the one person who loved him so very much. I hope this song haunts him for all eternity.

Just one look and I fell so haarrd in love with you ohhhh ohhh, I found out how good it feeeels to have your love, ohhh ohhh, say you will will be minnnne, forever and always, ohhh ohhh, just one look and I kneeeew that you were my only one ooooohhh, I thought I was dreaming
but I was wrooong ahhhh ahhh but I'm gonna keep on schemeing till I can make you my own.

I hope that he sees these words and knows that they were meant for only him. Putz that he is.

I know what you mean there paradise, she recorded this song and put it on her CD, but then she made another copy just for "loverboy, jerkoff" which she had plated in gold, the kids said it was to be a gift or something for him. Naturally he never got it, and its still floating around somewhere. She had a thing of recording her music for special people, myself included, I still have my copy of "Be My Baby" that I hold close to my heart as one of my prized possessions. Someone said that these recordings could be worth some money, but you know what, I don't care, as it was a present from her to me and that's all that matters. I would never part with it.

Give me a PM as I have nearly everything lined up for next month.

Geez, that song takes me back to HS, I don't think it was played very much on the local stations, WCBS or WINS, I think it got alot of playtime on some of the other stations. Anyway, its a great song, I don't remember K singing this, but then, we drifted apart when she left Stock.

That was many many years ago, great times back then, going to HS then to the pizza places to hang out, watching the boys, going to the dances on Friday night. I'd do it all over again even with the mistakes I've made in life, it was worth it.

I bet your Angel is looking down on you and smiling, I realize that you have no great affection for this other person. I wonder if when he hears this song on the radio or youtube if he shuts it off, it can only remind him of what he did to the lady he once loved, I wonder if he ever thinks of her, or visits her grave or sends flowers or its just one of those things that can easily be forgotten.

Doris Troy had a great voice, may she and your Angel rest in peace.

The very last time I saw K was at a concert in PA, she was singing this song, as I remember, she would do a thing about growing up in the Bronx and her love of Bronx boys, she went on to say that she was in love with a Bronx boy and although he couldn't be there with her, she'd dedicate this song and then go on to sing it as though he was sitting right in the front row. She was the happiest on stage, at that point in her life she was the happiest I'd seen her in a long time, little did I realize at the time what would happen in the near future, she was totally convinced that this "jerk" was totally in love with her and would make good on all his talk, I told her to be careful, she said "no, he's not like that" he's decent, kind and caring. Ha, if she could have looked into the future, she might have been more careful.

She was the best friend I would ever have, and the Bronx was a better place because of her and her music.

The last two years of her life I went to every single concert, I didn't miss one, and everytime she dedicated that song to "loverboy J" my stomach would go into a knot, but I thought if she was happy and he made her happy, then I shouldn't be so upset, I just didn't trust him, I told her that, she conpletely turned me off, saying I didn't know Mr. J and that he was the most decent kindest man she ever met, he lied to her, he cheated on his dimwitted wife and without regret destroyed one hell of a lady, who didn't deserve to have this done to her, I hope everytime he hears this song he chokes.

Jose, I wish there were some magic words for me to say to make the hurt go away, they say that time heals all wounds, I know that some days are easier than others. I know that August is a rough month for everyone concerned, but we will get through it together as we always have.
Looking forward to seeing you and the boys in a few days, hope you get out of Florida before the storm hits. Everyone is waiting, can't wait to see you till then.
